Remembering Natalie Larmon

Apra Colleagues,

The prospect development community and Apra Metro DC chapter experienced a tremendous loss late last month. One of our programming committee members, Natalie Larmon, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 37.

She was a senior prospect analyst at The George Washington University and joined the Apra Metro DC Programming Committee in 2016.  Natalie was a passionate volunteer and prior to her work with the DC chapter, she was treasurer and conference-co chair for CARA in her home state of California.

The board and I feel so honored to have known and worked with Natalie. She was a bright light in the Apra DC family. We will miss her joyful personality, her humor, and her delight in all things nerdy.

GW Today has posted a tribute that we encourage you to read so you can learn a bit more about our friend. Her family have set up a GoFundMe campaign to assist with arrangements.

Sincerely,
Rachel Collins
President, Apra Metro DC

In this session, Roslyn Clarke, Director of Prospect Research Services, will define verification, cover some helpful strategies BWF developed and lessons they learn in the process, and quantify the value of conducting verification on screening records.
